We Teach Your Child to Succeed

We tutor from your child's school curriculum, utilizing their textbooks, worksheets, homework and project assignments. Unlike the big learning centers, where your child can be overwhelmed by having to learn something new on top of existing assignments, your child will receive help with their current schoolwork. We will contact your child's teacher, with your permission, to be sure they are on track and that the tutoring is in tandem with what is happening in the classroom.

In-home tutoring provides your child with a comfortable environment that is free from peer pressure. This will help your child focus and feel free to ask questions. Most of our students meet with their tutor for one to two sessions per week. Each session typically lasts for one hour.

We work according to your schedule. Instead of asking you to drive to our location, we come to your home during the hours and days that are most convenient for you and your family.  Commuter Tutors schedules tutoring sessions seven days a week... after school, evenings, weekends... whatever works for you. We commute so you don't have to! What could be easier?

We do not require long term contracts or testing fees. Our rates are reasonable and affordable. Whether your child needs short term help to catch up in one subject such as math, wants help with SAT preparation, or needs a comprehensive plan to help them succeed for the entire school year, Commuter Tutors is the right tutoring service.
